TW Henderson The Wilderness Years
Born in Avery Island, Louisiana and raised in Texas, TW Henderson began his career in the blues in 1955. His first album ‘Blue Stone’ on Mercury Records, released in 1969’ was produced by Dr. John and Harold Battiste Jnr and although well received, he decided, not long afterwards, to turn his back on the music business.
It wasn’t until 1998, with this, his UK debut release on Bluetrack Records, that he truly made his comeback onto the blues scene.
The Wilderness Years is an autobiographical account of that period featuring eleven original songs all written by TW finally marking the beginning of his return to the blues world.
TW Henderson’s music is modern electric blues-rock guitar featuring his own songs which he sings with power and conviction.
